London CPD Day for special school staff this term

Crick Software has announced that it will be sponsoring an exciting CPD Day in London this November for special school staff. Entitled ‘Using technology to transform teaching and learning in special schools’, this whole-day event will enable teachers to pick up valuable hints and tips on using technology to help every pupil access the curriculum and find their voice.

The event will run from 9:00am to 3:00pm, and include sessions on the following:

Sensory storytelling helps children with a learning disability to communicate.

Bags of Ability is a Mencap project delivering free workshops in schools for parents and their children with a learning disability to help them communicate through sensory storytelling. We used MyChoicePad, and the results have been astounding.
